Nightblooming Selenicereus
Cactaceae Selenicereus anthonyanus
Bloom in the backyard. The petals have a waxy shiny texture. The blooms open about 8 pm and close by 5 am the next morning. The blooms produce a penetrating sweet scent. The cactus rarely blooms. Blooms form on older stocks. Blooms late April.
